THE JUMPGATE FOR SUPPORTING THE THEORY OF THE MANY-WORLDS INTERPRETATION AFTER HUGH EVERETT
Every life is full decisions and is surrounded by life that makes its own. Regions are developed differently than others. Although we all live on the planet but our lifes were not cultivated in the same way. For a long period the interdependent influence between communities was a rarity or not possible. That led me to think about the theory of parallel dimensions. That theory was the first idea for the ‘Jumpgate’. It is a part of my collection, VDI 2860 and a link connecting this fictionally world with our own reality.
If we visualise and understand our world as a tree, and with every rationalised and unconscious decision a new branch is growing. If we imagine that every possible decision would cause a new branch with the only difference being a variant of the last decision, we would be reminiscent of the ‘Many-World Interpretation’ of Hugh Everett. There would be as many parallel worlds as possibilities of variant decisions, existing only with the outcome of the last decision. From that point they would develop differently.
But like in the Many-World Interpretation, my realities and my dreams are some of endless possibilities. Everybody has dreams or fictions that should come true. I created the Jumpgate as a shell for this. A room disconnector. Not only a readymade room concept where you only have to sit down. It is a place for very personal imaginations. Fog and light will reduce the visibility and create a private space.
